Neighbors in the Franklin County "Donut Hole" have been working for months to stop their property from being annexed. And the latest ruling from Superior Court will now allow their case to be heard.
KEPR wants to make clear a report on the action likely to be taken by the city of Pasco over the re-zoning of a small portion of the donut hole. Now the city's zoning proposal would match Franklin County's zoning regulations.
As Pasco continues its move to annex a portion of the Donut Hole, all new city-services could soon be coming to that area.
And they will come with a pricetag.
"Donut Hole' residents have submitted nearly a thousand signatures to force a vote on incorporation. But the city of Pasco says it is moving ahead on annexing at least part of the area.
